Position Description:

The Director of Consulting Services works with the Chief Strategy Officer to identify and implement growth and revenue opportunities for major accounts (defined as +$5M total annual revenues) while assisting with extending learnings and best practice approaches for the entire media client portfolio.

The position’s primary responsibility is to support our major and/or enterprise publisher relationships and assist with scoping, project management, implementation and ongoing execution of tailored services to drive growth of audience, engagement and monetization.

For the assigned accounts, the Director of Consulting Services will propose pricing structures, user registration, paywall and metering strategies (including free access), member benefits and perks for clients’ reader revenue programs, as well as provide feedback on content, site and newsletter design and overall reviews of their news product. In addition to answering those questions, the strategist will upskill clients by sharing their knowledge and approach into publisher strategies.
