Don MacGregor joined BlueLena in January, 2023 where he leads BlueLena’s media consulting practice specifically focused on technology and digital transformation among daily publishers.

Previously, Don had a broad and successful career at Tribune Publishing including management roles in Distribution, Planning & Analysis, and Marketing. His time culminated with overseeing the Chicago Tribune consumer business including a leadership role in converting Chicago Tribune’s websites to a paid digital product and a long streak of total consumer revenue growth.

In 2020, he joined McClatchy and led their entire consumer business and product group. Among his accomplishments there, he drove strong digital revenue growth, the introduction of improved apps across all McClatchy markets, and print to digital migration strategy.  

Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and lives in the Chicago area.
