Teresa Ristow is an accomplished Publisher Strategist at BlueLena, where she partners with independent news organizations to unlock audience growth and revenue opportunities through strategic planning, data-driven marketing, and multi-channel campaign execution.

In her role, Teresa leads the design and implementation of customized audience engagement strategies, builds strategic playbooks, manages paid acquisition efforts, and oversees high-impact fundraising campaigns that elevate publisher performance across digital and print channels.

Since joining BlueLena in February 2023, Teresa has become a trusted advisor to publishing partners, guiding them in leveraging the full suite of BlueLena’s products, services, and growth solutions to achieve ambitious audience and revenue goals. Her work reflects a deep understanding of content strategy, audience behavior, and integrated marketing operations that drive measurable results.

Teresa brings extensive newsroom leadership experience to her strategic role. Before BlueLena, she served as Managing Editor for Oregon Media, where she oversaw digital and print strategy for multiple publications and advanced audience engagement initiatives. Earlier in her career, Teresa held editorial and audience engagement leadership positions—including Director of Engagement at the Greeley Tribune, where she led the newsroom to win first place from the Local Media Association for “Best Strategy to Grow Digital Audience.”

A graduate of Southern Oregon University with a B.A. in Journalism, Teresa combines deep editorial insight with a forward-looking approach to audience and revenue strategy—helping publishers thrive in an evolving media landscape. Teresa resides in Bend, OR.
