Judi Kamien is the Director, Publisher Success at BlueLena, bringing 30+ years of leadership in organizational development, fundraising strategy, and mission-aligned growth for nonprofit and mission-driven institutions. At BlueLena, Judi partners with independent newsrooms and nonprofit organizations to design and implement high-impact business strategies that unlock sustainable revenue, deepen community engagement, and strengthen organizational capacity.

Before joining BlueLena’s consulting practice, Judi served as the founding Chief Development Officer for the Springfield Daily Citizen, a nonprofit, independently operated news organization. In that role, she led the launch of comprehensive revenue and audience development initiatives, applying data-informed fundraising strategy and innovative engagement frameworks to support long-term financial stability in a competitive media landscape.
Judi’s career has spanned strategic leadership roles across sectors, including senior development and executive positions with cultural institutions such as the Museum of Arts and Design, Symphony Space, and the Museum of Biblical Art. Throughout her work, she has built and scaled successful brands and programs by combining deep strategic insight with a collaborative, results-driven approach.
