Kai joined BlueLena in May, 2022 where she assists publishers in the transition from onboarding to strategy execution by leveraging our complete product offering, including tools for audience activation, engagement and monetization; and partner solutions including email acquisition, social media marketing, newsletters referral programs, e-commerce promotion and other services.

Kai is an accomplished student, athlete and entrepreneur. While in college, she was a four-year starter on the nationally ranked NC State University basketball team where she led the program to three straight ACC championships (2020-2022). This past season while serving as its captain, Kai led NC State to the ACC regular season championship, conference tournament championship, an appearance in the NCAA tournament elite 8, and a final ranking of number 3 in the Associated Press poll. She holds the program record for games played (152) and ranks third all-time in 3-point percentage (.389). Kai also was recognized throughout her tenure as a member of the All-ACC academic team.

She has also been an active, engaged leader while on campus, serving on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Pack UNITED social justice movement, and the Center for Leadership.

Owing to her campus leadership, on and off-court successes, and entrepreneurial skills, Kai was invited to serve on the Advisory Board of the newly created Pack of Wolves NIL collective where she will mentor athletes and assist with branding, sponsorship and marketing opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness.

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, in 2020 Kai founded and continues to operate Scripted Apprl, a modern, unorthodox and creative brand that puts faith into fashion. She develops and designs all of its merchandise, manages the branding and marketing, and oversees all fulfillment and shipment from her e-commerce store.

Kai graduated from North Carolina State University in May, 2020 with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Earlier this month she completed a Graduate Certificate in Sports Entertainment and Venue Management. She now resides in Wake Forest, NC just outside of Raleigh.
