Megan Wofford is the Director of Products at BlueLena, where she leads the development and delivery of technology solutions that power audience growth and revenue performance for independent newsrooms and mission-driven publishers. In her role, Megan oversees the full product lifecycle, guiding cross-functional teams in design, testing, and deployment to ensure BlueLena’s platform continues to meet the evolving needs of its partners.

Under Megan’s leadership, BlueLena’s products have delivered advanced capabilities to journalism organizations, such as a purpose-built CRM and engagement scoring systems, enabling publishers to strategically grow donor pipelines, optimize fundraising efforts, and fortify long-term sustainability. For her accomplishments, in 2025 Megan was named one of “Tomorrow’s Trailblazer’s” by Editor & Publisher Magazine.

Since joining BlueLena in November 2021, Megan has played an integral role in shaping the company’s product vision and technology strategy. She began her journey as Agency Services Manager, where she managed deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization of marketing automation and data analytics solutions that helped publishers accelerate growth.

In 2022, she was promoted to Senior Strategy and Solutions Consultant, providing high-value guidance and best practices to help publishers unlock audience and revenue outcomes using BlueLena’s suite of technology and services.

Prior to BlueLena, Megan applied her analytical expertise as an Insights Analyst at Upland BlueVenn, supporting database design and management for more than 600 global brands—experience that informs her deep understanding of data-driven product development and platform scalability.

Megan holds a B.A. in Business Administration from North Carolina State University, where she competed at the Division I level in cross country and track & field.

She resides in Texas with her husband.
