Nichole Bonner is a Publisher Success Manager at BlueLena, where she leads a dedicated practice supporting subscription-based publications. In this role, Nichole works closely with audience, editorial and revenue teams to help publishers grow audiences, deepen engagement, accelerate paid digital subscription acquisition, optimize renewals, and strengthen reader retention, with an eye toward long-term sustainability and impact.

Nichole brings deep experience from across the news media landscape, having worked with newsroom and business teams at major publishers including Gannett, McClatchy, and most recently the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Hawaii’s largest daily newspaper.

At the Star-Advertiser, she served as Audience Development Manager, where she spearheaded initiatives to expand digital readership and engagement, implementing data-informed strategies that helped drive measurable growth in subscriptions and audience loyalty.

Earlier in her career, Nichole worked in audience strategy, marketing, and partnerships, developing cross-functional campaigns that aligned content, product, and revenue objectives. Her ability to translate audience insights into actionable plans has helped newsrooms refine their digital offerings and build stronger connections with readers.

Nichole holds a B.A. in Public Relations-Communications from Lambuth University. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband.
