Since joining the team in August 2025, Trudi has supported publishers across the country in leveraging technology and data-driven strategies to enhance engagement, expand reach, and strengthen financial impact.

With more than 12 years of experience in digital strategy for print, broadcast, and online media, Trudi brings deep expertise in audience development, cross-platform optimization, and performance-based growth. Throughout her career, she has partnered with newsrooms to build sustainable products and best-in-class digital experiences that serve both editorial needs and community audiences.

Before joining BlueLena, Trudi led analytical and digital audience development efforts for established media organizations, including RebelMouse and Nexstar Media Group, where she worked closely with client teams to optimize website performance and implement industry best practices. At Hearst’s Times Union, she managed comprehensive website, newsletter, and audience initiatives—collaborating with editorial, product, and marketing teams to accelerate digital transformation and subscription growth.

Trudi holds a degree in Newspaper Journalism from Syracuse University, grounding her strategic work in a strong understanding of editorial mission and storytelling. She lives in upstate New York with her husband and two children.
